We are currently recruiting for the role of Linear Infrastructures Assistant with experience in roadway (or railway) design, or clear apetite to develop in that field, to join our ambitious and experienced Linear Infrastructures team. We are working on stages as early as feasibility studies up to detailed designs on a wide range of projects, either as standalone linear infrastructures team or as part of multidisciplinary teams. Our clients are from the private and public sector and include long term Framework Agreements with numerous Local Authorities together with Design and Build commissions for many major Contractors. Our office has an established track record of successfully delivering roadway designs for many years, throughout the USA and Australia not to mention Canada or Middle East. You may have the opportunity to work on some of the most iconic Transportation projects, being part of a diverse and multicultural Enterprise Capabilities Team (Poland/Spain).

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Works on small projects or portions of larger projects supported by EC, with work being reviewed and supervised by senior or experienced engineers.

  • Performs daily work under designer’s supervision, including geometric design of linear infrastructures (highways or railways)

  • Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems. Ability to use it for geometrical design

  • Works on complex drawings in 2D and 3D including markups and CAD works

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Experience on highways design (and/or railway) and/or clear appetite to develop a technical career on that field.

  • Some experience in geometrical design at least one of the following packages: InRoads, OpenRoads / OpenRail, Rail Track, Civil 3D, Geopak or 12d Model

  • Good command of CAD software (preferable AutoCAD and/or MicroStation)

  • Communicative level of English (oral and written)

  • CV in English language.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master degree in Civil Engineering.
