AECOM is looking to hire an Assistant Aviation Engineer for our Aviation team based in Telford. The Assistant Aviation Engineer will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver aviation services to airport owners/operators, airlines and transportation agencies. Our team of aviation specialists provide a fully integrated service and have the technical skills and experience to address a wide range of aviation developments.
Assist in Project management for delivery of multi-disciplinary designs
Technical responsibility for designs
Client and stakeholder interface with guidance
Co-ordination and management of other discipline inputs into projects.
Specific Skills Required:
Experience working with Airport clients on the delivery of Civil Engineering Aviation Projects
Experienced user of CAD 2010 or equivalent
Good working knowledge of CAP 168/MADS/Annex 14
Understanding of airport clients and the constraints on working at airports.
Previous Aviation experience with working knowledge of CAA, ICAO, DIO and FAA standards, guidelines and specifications is desirable.
Be able to show experience of working with diverse teams ideally on multidisciplinary projects.
Candidate should be motivated to continue to learn about all aspects of aviation project delivery including; project management, master planning, project financial controls, quality, CDM, Health and Safety, design and the particular issues concerning construction.
Degree educated or equivalent in Civil Engineering, or similar;
Nearing Professional Qualification (IEng/CEng MICE or similar)
