Job Description

​​​​​​AECOM is seeking a Licensed Architect for an Architecture Aviation Studio Lead for our growing Architecture team in our Tampa, FL office. We are seeking energetic and qualified candidates to help us grow our team and provide project management for our projects and teams.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Engage with key industry associations, conferences, and other industry organizations.

  • Provide technical leadership on projects, process, and industry standards.

  • Portfolio of projects and leadership in the Aviation Sector on multi-scaled projects.

  • Develop and maintain client relationships at high level.

  • Define business strategy and means to grow a sustainable Aviation Studio.

  • Lead design strategy and innovation for projects – providing thought leadership in the Aviation sector.

  • Partner internally to lead studio pursuits and engagement, with clients, key industry relations, conferences, or similar.

  • Engage and represent the firm’s expertise and capabilities.

  • Develop a market point-of view and advanced design solutions.

  • Work across offices and provide leadership/partnership for ongoing projects and pursuits.

  • Grow the Aviation Studio, leveraging our firm’s strengths.

  • Inspire and motivate – be a true champion for Aviation studio, projects, and thought leadership.


Minimum requirements:

  • BA/BS + 8 Years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Licensed Architect is required

Preferred Requirements:

  • Established relationships within the Aviation Sector

  • Able to travel as required for job duties, client relationships, and business opportunities.

  • Experience in required software platforms including Office, Bluebeam, Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe.

  • Expertise in Aviation project types, and capabilities or growth path as Market Leader.

  • Experience and background in the Aviation Sector for developing and leading Client Accounts for multi-scaled projects.

  • Strong knowledge of Aviation projects, operations, regulations, lifecycles, and practices.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $93,000.00 - $165,000.00.
