AECOM is seeking a Senior Information Technology ( IT) Auditor to be based in Manila, Philippines

Job Description:

AECOM is seeking a Senior Information Technology (IT) Auditor to join our Audit Services Group (ASG). This position is based in Manila, Philippines. ASG is responsible for evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of AECOM’s systems of internal controls that guide company activities toward accomplishing key business objectives. The primary responsibility of the Senior IT Auditor is to lead and execute ASG projects focusing on IT, information security, and privacy risks.

Job Duties:

  • Participate in planning, scoping and execution of risk-based IT and security assurance and advisory projects, including SOX 404 in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and ASG standards.

  • Contributes as a lead or specialist on complex IT controls and performs test of design and operating effectiveness.

  • Reviews workpapers and provides coaching.

  • Responsible for more complex areas of audit engagements, with decisions guided by policy, procedure, and supervision from lead or manager​.

  • Timely completion of work and maintenance of established performance standards.

  • Analyzes and identifies the root causes of challenging issues relating to processes.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop management agreed actions plans that address root causes and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT controls.

  • Prepares sections of report for tested controls and effectively communicates audit results to management.

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with stakeholders, while maintaining independence and objectivity.

  • Provide advisory services on audit, accounting and system issues as assigned.

  • Demonstrates up-to-date knowledge in IT and applies this to the development, execution and improvement of audit programs and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, computer science, cybersecurity, information assurance, or another related field is required.

  • Minimum five years of IT auditing, technology, information security or other relevant IT work experience is required.

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM, CRISC) are preferred.

  • In depth knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk management methodologies and industry best practices, experience with NIST 800- series, ISO 27000- family or similar is preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 30% including international travel (valid passport required)

  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills; fluency in English is required.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously.

  • Demonstrated understanding of information systems (e.g., Oracle, Workday, AuditBoard) is preferred.
