Our growing ANZ Energy team are looking for a NSW Transmission & Distribution Leader, based in our busy Sydney office, to drive innovative change and support the acceleration of the energy transition with our clients. This is an exciting team leadership role, managing a team of 35 multidisciplinary engineers, while driving towards key client deliverables.

Job Description

Here's what you’ll do:

The role of Transmission & Distribution Leader will enable you to lead an established team of Transmission and Distribution Engineers, Designers and Drafters, to deliver our strong backlog and future pipeline of key projects with major NSW clients in Energy.

You will support and build on headcount growth, nurture key client relationships and mentor a fantastic team of engineers to deliver high standard outcomes in Transmission and Distribution projects.

  • Lead and grow our key practices Transmission and Distribution practice, including Digital skillsets in NSW.

  • Engage in a truly diverse role, building current and prospective Energy clients in an exciting leadership opportunity.

  • Collaborate with ANZ and global leaders to ensure continued success and growth in our Energy business.

  • Be a role model, leading from the front, driving cultural behaviours of collaboration, innovative thinkers, trust, result focused and a care for colleagues to drive a psychological safety of being able to bring your full self to work.

With extensive Transmission and Distribution experience across Australia or New Zealand, your record for delivering strong business results will underpin confidence to lead us through a dynamic landscape of opportunity in Energy.

  • A track record in leading others, is an architect for change, and looks to expand capability and capacity whilst driving flawless execution.

  • You will be a proven collaborative and influential leader, who is able to build effective relationships with clients, and teams, with a passion to lead and build in Energy.

  • Forward-thinking, you will embrace change and have an appetite for implementing and utilising cutting-edge digital technology. You will be happy to step forward into the challenges the ever changing nature of our business brings and be accountable for the outcomes you and your team deliver.
