Job Description
Are you an experienced engineer with expertise in dams, looking to take the next step in your career? We are expanding our Dams team across Australia and are currently seeking a Director level Dam Engineer to join the team and help lead and deliver a strong portfolio of projects.
With a secure long-term pipeline of work, this is a great opportunity to join our No. 1 globally ranked Dams and Engineering Practice (according to ENR). Base yourself in one of our Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast or Perth offices and contribute to nation-defining projects, access expertise and knowledge from a team of renowned dam specialists and leverage diverse skills and global experience.
What a day in this role could involve:
Leading and running engineering components of complex, major dams projects and providing technical and strategic direction in their delivery
Guiding and mentoring our growing team of engineers to provide high quality outputs and excellent client service
Leading design teams and design programs from options-analysis through to detailed design of dams
Creating and maintaining lasting relationship with our clients.
Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?
Proven experience in delivering above expected outcomes and a strong technical capability within the dams industry
A passion for mentoring and leadership
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
You enjoy developing and nurturing relationships with internal stakeholders, clients as well as the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations
A relevant tertiary degree (essential).
