AECOM Construction Inspector IV in Southfield, Michigan

Job Summary

  • Performs a variety of tasks in support of the engineering staff.

  • Activities may include assisting with engineering calculations, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting equipment and engineering installations for compliance with specifications and maintaining project documentation.

  • General understanding of procedures, company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Viewed as competent in all areas.

  • Highest non-supervisory position.

  • May oversee work of junior-level technicians.

  • Viewed as competent in all areas.

  • Professional certification desirable if applicable.

Minimum Requirements

HS Diploma + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and or education

Preferred Qualifications

10+ years of experience in MDOT, other state DOT, or local agency construction inspection experience

MDOT HMA Paving Certification

SESC Certification and be a storm Water Operator

Level 1 Concrete Certification

MDOT Aggregate Certification

MDOT Density Certification

MDOT or other state DOT Construction Inspection
