Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team in Singapore, Singapore. As a key member of our engineering department, you will play a crucial role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of various structural systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.

  • Develop and review structural designs for buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects

  • Perform complex structural analyses using advanced software tools to ensure the safety and integrity of structures

  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to create innovative and efficient structural solutions

  • Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations in compliance with local building codes and international standards

  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications

  • Analyze and resolve structural issues that arise during the construction phase

  • Prepare and review technical reports, including structural calculations and design criteria

  • Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions

  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering

  • At least 3 years of experience in structural engineering for large-scale projects

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, ETABS, or similar tools

  • Thorough understanding of local building codes and international structural design standards

  • Experience in construction supervision and quality control processes

  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex structural issues

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and liaise effectively with clients and contractors

  • Willingness to travel to project sites as needed
