Job Description

This is a fixed term role of 36 months.

What you'll do:

  • Managing day to day work assignment to the other site supervisory staff (Site technical officers) and maintain records of their deployment.

  • Provide Administrative support on all matters related to the project including processing of monthly progress claim payment and attending meetings.

  • Prepare the operations plan (template of which will be provided by the Board later) to facilitate the shutdown of watermains for connection of the newly laid watermains and capping of the watermains to be abandoned. The PC shall make the necessary amendments to the operations plan as requested by the Board, where necessary. Training will be provided.

  • Monitor the appointed third-party Contractor’s site progress, performance and maintain a site record to keep track of site progression related to the watermains diversion and pipe laying works.

  • Assist to verify documentation submissions submitted by the appointed third-party Contractor to ensure compliance to the Board’s Specifications.

  • Work closely with the STO to verify the final as-built submission by the appointed third-party Contractor to ensure that the pipe alignment corresponds to the site alignment

  • Assist in monitoring all the required documents submission – to facilitate the handover of the complete rectification works, that are carried out by the appointed third-party Contractor.

  • Other ad hoc duties assigned.

Qualifications

Meet the requirements:

  • Diploma from local polytechnic or similar qualifications

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft applications, especially Excel.

  • Preferably with 1 year experience in watermains projects.
