Job Description

Provides objective analysis and sound judgement with application of principles and techniques to evaluate and report project performance from concept study to construction & startup including practical assessment of schedule completion and expected final cost. Competencies include setup of work breakdown structure, establishing levels of control and detail, planning and scheduling, cost analysis and forecasting, progress measurement, earned value performance, risk analysis and change control.

Responsible for managing, controlling, forecasting and reporting cost and schedule performance for projects throughout the organization. Services include setting up and managing project controls systems (including setup of work breakdown structure), capturing to-date progress and expenditure data, analyzing to-date performance data, forecasting at-completion performance data (EAC costs, hours), analyzing project risks (contingency management), managing change and incorporating scope variations into schedule and cost deliverables, and preparing associated reports.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Introduced to the expenditure process and begins reviews of expenditures for coding accuracy.

  • Begins the commitment log for purchase orders and subcontracts.

  • Assists in performance measurement and reporting.

  • Assists in the preparation of monthly reports and in the execution of the change control process.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • HS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Additional Information

Preferred Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering Management, Project Management, or a related field.

•More than 2 years of experience as a project assistant or administrative assistant in a large multinational company; experience in the construction engineering or project management industry is preferred.

•CET-6 or above in English, fluent spoken English.
