Job Description

We are seeking a forward-thinking urban analyst to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will leverage AI technologies, digital tools, and innovative approaches to analyze urban spaces and develop data-driven design solutions for smart, sustainable communities. This role focuses on maximizing efficiency and innovation through advanced digital-based analytics while maintaining human-centered design principles.

Urbanism + Planning – Urban Design

Our planning and urban design practice has the specialized expertise needed to address the broad range of policy frameworks that guide development through to the three-dimensional evaluation and planning of spaces at both master planning and urban design scales. Our urban design practice operates at the intersection between architecture and landscape architecture and establishes appropriate scaling and interfaces of urban spaces

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive urban analysis using GIS, Space Syntax, and other digital mapping tools

  • Create data visualizations and analytical diagrams of urban patterns and flows

  • Analyze demographic data, land use patterns, and mobility networks

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on urban design projects

  • Support development of design recommendations based on analytical findings

  • Assist in stakeholder engagement through digital platforms

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement

  • Hold or be pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in disciplines relevant to the business stream(s) applied for.

  • GIS software (ArcGIS), AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite.

  • 3D modeling software with parametric capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with digital or AI-powered applications in urban analysis

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Chinese

  • Ability to perform in a team environment with demonstrated record in previous experience

  • Self-motivated, willing to learn and accept challenges with positive attitude
