Job Description

AECOM searches ICT Automation Supervisor

Features:

  • Supervise the implementation of automation systems and ICT solutions, ensuring that it is carried out in accordance with the technical specifications and Project schedules.

  • Coordinator with engineers, technicians and other supervisors to integrate control and automation systems into the daily operations of the Project.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of automated systems, identifying areas for improvement and applying technological solutions to optimize Project processes.

  • Manage the configuration and maintenance of networks, access control systems and other critical ICT components.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to end users, ensuring they can take full advantage of the capabilities of the implemented systems.

  • Responsible for the identification of equipment and/or systems with long delivery times, their impact on the construction program and with the other disciplines of the project.

  • Responsible for the coordination and logistics of the supply and installation of the different equipment of their discipline.

  • Responsible for monitoring compliance with the approved construction program and updating it if necessary.

  • Responsible for monitoring compliance with national regulations and, if they do not exist, adhering to applicable international standards.

  • Responsible for identifying the different change orders that may arise, whether in time and/or cost, documenting them and following up on them.

  • Responsible for the coordination and resolution of interferences for the installation of pipeline banks and/or underground facilities required in the project.

  • Maintain technical documentation, user manuals and training procedures for automation systems and ICT solutions.

  • Provide support to project staff in the proper use of automation technologies and cybersecurity practices.

  • Supervise the installation and configuration of ICT related hardware and software, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance, in accordance with inspection and testing plans established by the Contractor.

  • Recommend new technologies that can improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Project.

  • Ensure that all ICT and automation activities comply with applicable security standards and legal regulations.

  • Ensure compliance with the quality of the work regarding the engineering and reception of the ICT systems, regarding the review of materials, tests, approvals, certificates

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Communications and electronics or related fields + 4 YEARS or demonstrated equivalence of experience and/or education

Experience:

  • Experience in automation systems, access control, system configuration and integration, ICT

  • Data Center and Industrial Projects

Preferences:

  • 6 years of experience in supervision of automation and ICT systems
