Job Description

AECOM is actively seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Sales and Outreach Manager for employment in its CT rides program located in Rocky Hill, CT . This is a challenging but rewarding position to effect important changes in the health and well-being of employees and residents of the state by helping to reduce congestion and harmful auto emissions by enrolling employers, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders in programs that increase their member's use of transit, carpooling, and other green travel modes. You will develop and execute the program’s outreach and engagement strategy while leading a team of seven. As a member of the CT rides leadership team, you will be the lead representative before the state’s largest employers, colleges/universities, business organizations, and transportation stakeholders.

Work Direction/Complexity:

  • Oversee the daily activities of outreach team members to ensure that weekly and monthly goals are met, that they are making progress in enrolling new participants, and that they are achieving higher levels of mode shift to greener commuting modes among members.

  • Develop and manage the annual sales and outreach plan for the team.

  • Ensure that CT rides’ Customer Relationship Management program, Salesforce, is kept up-to-date.

  • Develop outreach campaigns to increase organization engagement, new partnerships, and awareness of the CT rides program .

  • Develop worksite activities that successfully motivate employees to try different ways to work and the evaluation tools that measure impact.

  • Work with each outreach team member to assist in the development of organization-specific strategic plans to increase mode shift among employees.

  • Analyze program and team data to gauge effectiveness and adjust program strategy, as needed.

  • Develop reports for the program director to gauge the effectiveness of the CT rides program.

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials for events and other outreach activities.

  • Work collaboratively with the senior management team to further the effectiveness of CT rides programs.

  • Provide ongoing outreach training and development for the team, with an emphasis on program services, account management, business development, stakeholder development, and prospecting.

  • Attend external meetings and events to observe staff and provide coaching.

  • Develop and conduct presentations to stakeholders, employers, the Connecticut Department of Transportation, and other stakeholders.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS in Business, Communications or related field plus (4) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Valid U.S. Driver’s license and as a condition of employment, pass AECOM's Motor Vehicle Records Review.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Team Management: Experience leading and motivating a sales or outreach team, including performance management, coaching, and development.

  • Sales/Outreach Expertise: Demonstrated success in generating leads, building relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $72,000.00 - $100,000.00.
