AECOM Entry Level Fire Protection Engineer in Roanoke - VA, Virginia

Under direct supervision, performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.
Spends large percentage of time performing estimating take-offs and performing walk-downs for quantity tracking purposes, reporting of installed quantities, performing field inspections to verify adherence to design.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Fire Safety engineering or other related field required
Capable of using spreadsheet, word processing and standard office software
Basic knowledge of industry standard computer software for the position (examples include software such as CADD, Revit, HCS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Hydraulic models
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) preferred
