Job Description

The ideal candidate will oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects, ensuring that all systems are installed according to specifications, codes, and safety standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective collaboration with various stakeholders.

  • Manage and supervise all MEP installations on-site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budget constraints.

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems within the overall project design.

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP work to ensure quality standards and regulatory compliance are met.

  • Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems, providing technical guidance and solutions to the site team.

  • Maintain accurate records of MEP activities, including installation schedules, inspection reports, and change orders.

  • Supervise and mentor MEP engineers and technicians, promoting best practices in installation and safety protocols.

  • Ensure all MEP work adheres to safety regulations and company policies, fostering a culture of safety on-site.

  • Prepare regular progress reports and updates for project management, highlighting milestones, challenges, and solutions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in MEP management or supervision within the construction industry.

  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems design, installation practices, and relevant codes and standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
