Job Description

  • Lead the end-to-end design management process for large-scale projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, hospitality).

  • Serve as the main point of contact between design teams, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment of vision, goals, and deliverables.

  • Oversee and coordinate internal and external design resources, ensuring cohesive design output and adherence to project timelines and milestones.

  • Develop and manage design schedules , design scopes, budgets, and risk registers.

  • Ensure design documentation is delivered to the highest standards, meets compliance, and aligns with planning and regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitate design reviews and approval processes with all stakeholders.

  • Work closely with project management, construction, and cost consultants to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation.

  • Guide value engineering and design optimization processes without compromising quality or vision.

  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of design management practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.

  • Minimum 15+ years of experience in design management with a focus on large-scale, complex projects .

  • Strong knowledge of the design and construction process, from feasibility to delivery.

  • Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.

  • Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Deep understanding of local and international building codes, sustainability standards, and regulatory frameworks.
