Job Description
Lead the end-to-end design management process for large-scale projects across various sectors (e.g., commercial, mixed-use, infrastructure, hospitality).
Serve as the main point of contact between design teams, clients, consultants, and contractors, ensuring alignment of vision, goals, and deliverables.
Oversee and coordinate internal and external design resources, ensuring cohesive design output and adherence to project timelines and milestones.
Develop and manage design schedules , design scopes, budgets, and risk registers.
Ensure design documentation is delivered to the highest standards, meets compliance, and aligns with planning and regulatory requirements.
Facilitate design reviews and approval processes with all stakeholders.
Work closely with project management, construction, and cost consultants to ensure design intent is preserved during implementation.
Guide value engineering and design optimization processes without compromising quality or vision.
Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of design management practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
Minimum 15+ years of experience in design management with a focus on large-scale, complex projects .
Strong knowledge of the design and construction process, from feasibility to delivery.
Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
Deep understanding of local and international building codes, sustainability standards, and regulatory frameworks.
