Job Responsibilities/Duties

Responsible for Retrieval Operations management with projects supporting 241-A tanks. Supports the Development of Technology to be utilized by Teams within Retrieval and Closure for retrieval of the A Single Shell Tanks (SSTs). Provides leadership for project schedules and field work activities supporting retrieval and closure work goals. Responsible for ensuring AB/TSR compliance, coordinating waste transfer retrieval operations in activities outside of A Farm, under the authority and communication with the Production Operations Shift Manager. Directs organizational resources to provide efficient processes, systems, tools, and procedures as may be appropriate. Facilitates the design reviews, development and implementation of new retrieval technologies. Demonstrates a presence in the field monitoring and mentoring conduct of operations principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure ISMS Principles are incorporated into organization's activities

  • Monitors the performance of work to ensure it is done in accordance with cost, schedules, contractual, and client requirements

  • Provides organizational leadership

  • Ensures adherence to company policies, standards and procedures and governmental regulations

  • Resolves conflicts or controversy to facilitate meeting established company objectives

  • Demonstrate commitment to the WRPS vision and its core values.

Required Qualifications

BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and years experience. Minimum of 12 years experience in increasing levels or responsibilities.

Desired Qualifications

Degree in a technical discipline is desired.

Operation Engineer (OE) qualification is desired.
