Job Description
The Water Business Line of AECOM in Raleigh, NC is actively seeking a creative, highly talented Entry-Level Engineer to join our team. The appropriately qualified applicant will be able to demonstrate the potential for success in Civil/Environmental Engineering specific to water, wastewater, and stormwater utility engineering with a focus on Department of Defense clients.

This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to :
Creates reports, designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer or scientist.
Perform field work to document existing site conditions and constraints.
Coordinates with other engineers and scientists.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
B.S. in civil engineering, environmental engineering, biological and agricultural engineering (BAE), or other related engineering degree
Valid driver’s license required
U.S. citizenship is required due to nature of work
Preferred Qualifications
M.S. in civil/environmental/BAE engineering or related field
Engineering Intern Certification or ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment
Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
Strong written and oral communication, quantitative and interpersonal skills
Proficient use of PC-based applications (MS Word, Excel, Access), as well as motivated, hardworking team player with attention to detail
Experience with ArcGIS and AutoCAD
Willingness to travel occasionally for work for up to 2 weeks at a time

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $56,680.39 - $77,935.54.
