Job Description

AECOM Poland is currently seeking a Business Development Manager with special focus on Industrial and Technology (Data Center) sector to increase AECOM’s presence in these sectors and help manage all the related projects in Buildings and Places Poland.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for growing our network in the Industrial and Technology Sector, preferably in the local and international market, but specially focused in the local market.

The candidate should also have experience and knowledge around the Industrial and Technology Design and Program Management with a proven record of client interaction and development in this sector, and the drive to develop this market on a focused basis.

Also, she/he will be an engaging and compelling communicator, both verbally and written, as well as technically astute, with a very strong client and commercial focus.

Person on this position should be highly skilled in the development and direction of large scale, pro-grammatically complex bids and projects in international contexts. She/he will develop and grow relationships with new and existing clients that produce new and continued business. This manager should demonstrate a propensity for problem solving, solutions focused approach, creative strategy development and exhibit highly evolved business and financial management skills. A dynamic and fully engaged communicator, she/he will be an active participant in industry events and provide organizational, leadership, communication and relationship management firm wide.

Qualifications

Years of experience:

  • Above seven (7) years of experience in Industrial and Technology Sector

  • Five (5) years in a leading position in similar employment, working for a reputable Industrial and Technology Consultancy or Employer

Education:

  • University MSc level degree in Engineering or Architecture

Skills:

  • Ability to proactively develop relationships with clients and other key constituents that create competitive advantage.

  • Proven understanding of market key players and Industrial and Technology key forces, pertaining to fees, scope and schedule requirements.

  • Excellent communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills – written, oral and graphic.

  • Market and sales-oriented entrepreneurial skills, also in the use of digital marketing tools and social media.

  • Availability to travel.

  • Polish and international project experience

  • Ability to maintain a balance between business development, marketing actions and client management.

Languages:

  • Polish and English excellent communication skills

  • Use of other languages (e.g. German, Spanish) is desirable
