AECOM Systems Engineer in Port Hueneme, California

Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a new contract!

Perform a variety of systems engineering assignments in planning and overseeing research, development, design, manufacture, test, installation, operation, and maintenance of electronic equipment and systems and generally as a member of a design, analysis or review team. Will work with Navy officials or senior engineers, and be responsible for contributing to the development of Surface Navy radar development programs..

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related scientific field and at least 3 years of job-related experience or equivalent.

  • Good working knowledge of radar, computer systems and integrated software application programs. Demonstrated ability to write technical documentation, and good communication, interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills are required.

  • Position will require travel.

  • Position requires the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with radar, computer systems, computer networks, real-time control software applications. Experience with operating, maintaining, integrating, testing, or developing systems for US Navy Radar Programs, such as AN/SPY-1, AN/SPS-48, AN/SPQ-9B, or AN/SPY-3.
