Job Description
AECOM’s Water Team in Perth is currently looking for a proven water resources engineer, who has a passion for technical excellence and is keen to further develop their experience in delivering multi-disciplinary projects in a global organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to play an integral role in the strategic vision and growth of the team, mentoring and developing emerging engineers to shape our future professionals while working on a range of projects including residential/commercial development planning, mining development, transportation infrastructure and water infrastructure.
What will a day in this role look like:
Work on a variety of projects, leading and delivering hydraulic/hydrologic modelling support whilst focusing on technical excellence.
Preparation of tenders and proposals.
Collaborate with a large number of professionals in a range of geographies and build relationships with internal and external clients across multiple sectors, ensuring client service satisfaction.
Opportunities to coach a range of junior professionals, fostering the growth and development of the team.

What are we looking for from you?
Relevant tertiary qualifications
An understanding of Western Australia water management planning processes (Precinct Water Management Strategy, Local Water Management Strategy, etc.) and water sensitive urban design concepts will be highly regarded.
High level of proficiency using industry-standard hydrologic and hydraulic modelling software packages such as such as TUFLOW, DRAINS, HEC-RAS & 12D.
Strong client focus, high level of motivation and dedication and the ability work well in a team environment.
Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills.
