Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Environmental Scientistwho can work collaboratively to prepare and manage high-quality environmental impact assessments. You will be confident in translating technical information into accessible language in your written work and other communications.

This role will provide an excellent opportunity for you to contribute to and lead a range of projects, including high-profile, complex infrastructure in urban and regional contexts across energy transition (including renewable power generation and grid modernisation), transport, water, industry, and other sectors.

What will a day in this role look like:

  • You will primarily assist with reporting aspects of multiple concurrent environmental impact assessment and approvals projects of varying size and complexity.

  • Work amongst a team of peers and alongside our clients and subcontractors, while learning first-hand from our in-house senior advisors and technical leaders.

  • You will contribute to a range of projects sizes with opportunities to develop project management skills and will play an active role in project delivery and client management.

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate discipline such as environmental science,

  • have strong environmental impact assessment experience across a number of market sectors and a good industry reputation.

  • have solid project management/coordination skills, and commercial acumen to effectively manage resources, timelines, quality and budgets.

  • Possess the emotional intelligence to develop and maintain positive peer and client relationships

  • be a strong team player, influencer, and, most importantly, a real collaborator.

  • be a good communicator with proven technical knowledge and a strong client focus.
