We now have a vacancy for a Site Technician as part of our Roads Asset Management team. The vast majority of surveys are undertaken on transient locations throughout the UK, requiring team members to travel extensively or work remotely.
The Highways Operations team who are primarily involved with assessing the condition of highways, ports and airfields. This requires the use of several in-situ surveying techniques, such as Visual Condition Surveys, Rotary Diamond Coring, Falling Weight Deflectometer testing, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer, Trial Pitting and Window Sampling. Previous experience in this field would be beneficial, but full training will be provided to the suitable candidates. The position involves extensive travel throughout the UK and can, depending upon the project location, require individuals to work away from Nottingham for short durations, typically up to a week at a time
