Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly qualified individual for the critical role of Program Controls Manager.

The Program Controls Manager bears the following crucial responsibilities:

  • Assumes oversight of program controls-related activities for medium-sized programs or specialized defined controls elements of larger programs, providing critical support to the Program Manager or Program Controls Director.

  • Spearheads coordination efforts across multiple projects within the program, ensuring strict alignment with overarching program objectives.

  • Meticulously identifies and addresses interdependencies between projects, proactively mitigating risks and resolving conflicts to maintain program integrity.

  • Engages in strategic collaboration with project managers to ensure optimal resource allocation and utilization.

  • Maintains close working relationships with senior leadership to define and refine program-level objectives with precision.

  • Provides authoritative guidance and rigorous oversight to project controls teams, ensuring effective management of individual project elements.

  • Conducts thorough monitoring and evaluation of risk mitigation strategies to ensure their efficacy and implement necessary adjustments.

  • Facilitates clear, concise, and timely communication between project teams and stakeholders to maintain program cohesion.

  • Delivers comprehensive and regular updates to senior leadership on program progress, challenges, and achievements, ensuring full transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Project Management, Engineering, or Business plus 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Project Management, Engineering, or Business

  • 12 years of related experience

  • Experience with large transportation, water, and aviation infrastructure

  • Experience in integration of controls - scope, cost, schedule, risk reporting

  • Experience in PowerBI report tailoring for program specific needs

Additional Information

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.

  • Relocation is not available for this position.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $200,000.00 - $225,000.00.
