We’re searching a creative, detailed-oriented design professional with passion for great design to join our growing studio in our New York City location. The candidate should be a self-starter, curious and not afraid to think outside the box for better ways to do things, resourceful to seek suggestions for a solution and able to communicate concisely about design.
You must be a fast-learner and thrive in a fast-paced agile environment. We believe that the best way to become a rounded professional is to be an engaging member of a project team for the full project life-cycle. You will be juggling various projects in different phases with your colleagues mentoring your way.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Assist with creating and maintaining BIM models for presentation and construction documentation in Revit
Assist with maintenance of resource library for materials and vendor presentations;
Assist the senior team leads on all aspects of the project delivery, from presentation production, field surveys and production of construction documentation;
Assist with the development of technical application of design vision for all projects and ensuring that constructability methods and technologies are explored and implemented through documentation
Assist with design and technical criteria compliance with all applicable codes and standards
Assist the project architect / manager with project coordination, including full documentation coordination
Assist with the communication between project team, clients, vendors, contractors, consultants and in-house leadership
Ability to generate ideas for technical and innovative solutions to resolve complex technical and design challenges
Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design from an accredited institution
3+ years of experience
Prior experience with Revit
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is a must (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
Highly organized and attention to details
Large scale corporate interiors project experience
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
High-quality 3D rendering
Knowledge of NYC FF&E markets for corporate interiors and/or hospitality projects
Studio 3D Max
Corporate Interiors and other commercial projects
Laboratory (pharma) experience
LEED Accreditation & experience
