Job Description

AECOM Leading Builders Group is seeking a Construction Intern to be based in New York, NY

This position is expected to begin in May 2025.

About Construction Management—Leeding Builders Group (LBG)

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.

  • Performs entry-level work.

  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.

  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidates must be currently enrolled in a university program pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Construction Management.

  • Must have completed 1 year of study in an applicable program

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working for a large general contractor.

  • Previous relevant internship experience.

  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.

  • Relocation is not available for this position

  • Sponsorship is not available for this position now or in the future

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $18.90/hour -$33.08/hour.
