Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a highly talented Assistant Project Manager to be assigned to a project site in New York. AECOM is proud to provide our employees with exciting, challenging projects.

Assistant Project Manager will work with Senior MEP Project Manager to assist in daily duties – Contract, Change Orders, ProCore.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist the project team and ensure project completion within budget, schedule and in conformance with specifications.

  • Assist in reviewing purchase orders, change orders, sub-contracts.

  • Develops design and procurement schedules for approval.

  • Resolves field initiated questions.

  • Coordinates activities among the design groups.

  • Prepares or directs the preparation of project studies, reports, etc.

Minimum Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in construction management field.

  • Knowledge of related construction practices and the economics involved including current knowledge of new methods of design and construction.

  • Knowledge of industry and regulatory standards and design criteria pertinent to the particular discipline.

  • Skill in oral and written communication.

  • Must be able to solicit schedule updates from all trade contractors, and maintain a master project schedule.

  • Interface with the Architect and Inspectors to assure the work meets all design requirements.

  • OSHA 10, 4 hour scaffolding

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Bachelor’s degree
