Job Description
Pivotal role in overseeing the entire design process, from concept development to project delivery, ensuring excellence in design quality, adherence to project timelines, and effective collaboration among team members.
Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and other key team members
Work closely with stakeholders, including marketing, product development, and executive teams, to understand and address design needs across the organization
Ensure the consistency, quality, and adherence to brand guidelines across all design projects.Conduct regular design reviews to provide constructive feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Delivers planned profit margins and completes projects without write-downs or margin erosion. Typically manages projects involving RTF (Risk Triggering Factors). Has decision-making authority and directs other Project Managers in recognising risk and uncertainty with plans to mitigate such. Minimises exposure to claims
Has experience in design elements and a good understanding of safety in design principles. Ensures technical quality reviews, including documentation in the project record, as per policies and procedures.
Identify and mitigate design-related risks, proactively addressing challenges to maintain project timelines and budgets.Stay informed about industry trends and advancements to anticipate potential challenges and opportunities.
Qualifications
20 years’ experience of relevant design experience on mega projects/programmes
Advance degree in relevant field
Client Engagement:
Cultivate strong relationships with clients, understanding their vision and goals to translate them into effective design solutions.
