AECOM Civil Project Engineer in Mobile, Alabama

Job Summary

AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Civil Project Engineer for immediate employment in the Mobile, Alabama office. Our transportation team enjoys a number of challenging projects with a diverse group of clients which includes Federal, State, and Local Governments. Our projects are typically aviation/airfields, military or government and local municipal and city site and roadway development. You will have the opportunity to experience many different transportation civil engineer projects to broaden your engineering experience and knowledge.

Specific responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Design roadway projects including highways, collector and local roadways

  • Design drainage and stormwater management plans for numerous types of projects

  • Design airfields and military site locations

  • Perform site inspections

  • Prepare erosion and sediment control plans

  • Develop proposed grading plans

  • Design storm sewer, culverts, and profiles

  • Prepare plans/drawings/quantities

Minimum Requirements

  • BA/BS + 2 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • 2 + years of relevant professional experience

  • Ability to work with some of the following: MicroStation, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, Inroads

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification
