Job Description

AECOM is seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team. This position is based on-site, out of Mississauga . We are seeking professionals to join our team to help us build one of the most advanced, sustainable and passenger-friendly airports in the world.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Oversees and provides subject matter expertise on all commercial and contractual aspects of the program.

  • Supports Program Leads in contract execution, including change control, performance management, and payments.

  • Ensures efficient and timely management of procurements, contractors, consultants, constructors, and supply chain agreements.

  • Implements and maintains accurate, timely commercial reporting, integrating it with broader program reporting.

  • Facilitates clear communication of contract deliverables, compliance requirements, and change management processes to key stakeholders, the delivery team, and shared services leads.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Degree in project management, quantity surveying, or another related field + 8 years of relevant experience in commercial management roles on major infrastructure programs.

Demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education may be considered.

Preferred Requirements:

  • 10 years of experience in commercial management roles within major infrastructure programs.

  • Proven expertise in commercial management across both pre- and post-contract phases.

  • Skilled in contract negotiations, including managing contract changes.

  • Experience working with cost-reimbursable contracts.

  • In-depth knowledge of building construction, quantity surveying, estimating, contracts, procurement, and dispute resolution.

  • Strong understanding of program controls disciplines and performance analytics.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate large groups and facilitate workshops.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

This position requires work on-site/out of the office 5 days a week.

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $122,000.00 - $200,000.00.
