Job Description

What will a day in this role look like:

  • Provide technical guidance and oversight throughout the development and construction phases of wind farm and other renewable energy technology projects.

  • Support project teams in understanding and mitigating risks associated with renewable energy projects.

  • Oversee the design process of wind farms to ensure compliance with industry standards and project requirements.

  • Support the development and preparation of bids for renewable energy projects, including technical specifications and cost estimates.

  • Be a technical practice leader for wind farm projects nationally, ensuring best practices and knowledge dissemination across the organisation

Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?

  • Around 15 years of consulting experience preferred, or adaptable from a major construction background.

  • Extensive expertise in wind farm development and construction and proficient in design principles and standards.

  • Strong grasp of commercial and risk considerations throughout project phases.

  • Effective leadership and team management experience or interest in developing.

  • RPEV/RPEQ certification with a relevant engineering degree (electrical/mechanical)
