Our specialist aviation capability covers a full range of services across the lifecycle of airport infrastructure, from conceptual planning, feasibility studies, preliminary and detailed design, tender documentation, management and evaluation to project management, construction supervision and commissioning, followed by asset management planning, maintenance and upgrade works.
Our ANZ Aviation team currently delivers a wide range of projects across our capital city airports for key clients including Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Bankstown, Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington Airport.
Job Description
In support of our current workload and future opportunities our ANZ Aviation team is looking to recruit across all levels in Australia, working in our team who will win and deliver airfield projects for our international and regional commercial airport clients, and as well as for the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces’ portfolio of airfields.
What will a day in this role look like:
Drive technical excellence across our ANZ Aviation portfolio.
Contribute to and support the management and leadership of aviation infrastructure planning and design consultancy projects
Provide hands-on aviation engineering input and strive for technical excellence
Have regular contact and retain good relationships with AECOM's key clients
Demonstrate strong communications skills and an ability to work within a multi-disciplinary design consultancy team environment
Qualifications

Experience in airside infrastructure engineering design, preferable aviation pavement design or construction
Knowledge of standards and guidelines from different organizations and authorities including CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority), FAA (Federal Aviation Administration), IATA (International Air Transport Association) and ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization)
