Job Summary

This position is located in Mannheim Germany and is contingent upon contract award.

The Quality Control (QC) Manager is responsible for all aspects of quality management for the APS2 – European Activity Set - project to include International Organization for Standard (ISO) compliance and the establishment of internal processes and controls.

Essential Responsibilities:

  1. Plans, coordinates, and directs the quality control program designed to ensure continuous quality of maintenance service consistent with established standards.

  2. Implements and maintains a quality management system program-wide in accordance with the applicable ISO Standards.

  3. Analyzes develops, evaluates, advises and promotes improvements in logistical programs.

  4. Establishes program objectives or performance goals and assesses progress.

  5. Manages all aspects of ISO compliance and the establishment of internal processes/controls.

  6. Ensures quality standards established in the contract are met.

  7. Plans, schedules and coordinates (preparatory, initial and follow-up tasks) to ensure all required audits/inspections are performed and documented.

  8. Define corrective measures for any problem areas identified.

  9. Maintain current files of all technical documents, instructions, procedures and requirements necessary for implementation of an effective quality assurance program.

  10. Conducts special evaluations, quality surveys and audits. Compiles reports and findings of surveys and audits for review and makes corrective action recommendations as required.

Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Requirements

At least eight (8) years of experience performing quality control in an industrial environment or equivalent training/experience. Must have at least five (5) years of experience in administrative, professional, analytical or other work related to ISO (4000) (14001) programs or operations.

Broad knowledge of Army logistical functions; excellent interpersonal skills to interact well with the customer and with employees at all levels. Appropriate verbal and written communication skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans and working instructions.

Must be a U.S. Citizenship and a SECRET security clearance is required.

Position will require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug-screen and a government background check.

Candidates must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred.
