AECOM Senior Geotechnical Engineer in Los Angeles, California

Job Summary

  • Responsible for geotechnical design developments and ensure design works are constructed as per the project specifications

  • Manage multiple projects

  • Liaise with sub-contractors, prepare method statements, weekly reports & work programs

  • Plan and manage geotechnical projects and contract administration

  • Oversee site investigations, monitoring and review instrumentation readings, involved in risk assessment

  • Prepare and compile technical reports and technical drawings

  • Play a key role in fiscal management and reporting

  • Play a key role in client management and client satisfaction

Minimum Requirements

BA/BS + 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

California P.E. License

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience in geotechnical engineering

  • Conversant with local codes and authority submission procedures

  • Excellent communications and written skills

  • Excellent technical and project management skills

  • Preferably Civil Engineer with Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering

  • Geotechnical Engineering (GE) license or ability to obtain license within 2 years

  • Familiarity with municipal and oil and gas sectors
