AECOM Architectural Technologist in London - UK, United Kingdom

Job Summary

Our UK + Ireland design team is seeking an experienced Architectural Technologist to join our team based in London.

The right candidate will have excellent understanding of building processes and how buildings come together, and a proven track record of winning, managing and delivering major schemes and be a proficient Revit user and have an interest in digital innovation.

Job Duties:

  • Drive initiatives that are aligned with AECOM’s Digital Strategy

  • Contribute to work winning strategy workshops and customer account management represent the AECOM architecture discipline in all sectors in SW England as and when required

  • Manage a range of writing and business reporting activities

  • Help to assess staff requirements at each work stage, agreeing these with the Project Manager and be able to manage single disciplinary and multi-disciplinary projects

  • Attend progress, design team and co-ordinate meetings

  • Understand and implement AECOM’s Safety Health and Environment Policy

  • Operate within the Company’s compliance standards to manage commercial and project risks

  • Resource forecasting and management

  • Conduct regular project performance reviews

Minimum Requirements

  • Proven experience in delivering complex projects, with emphasis in developing building processes

  • Demonstrable track record in leadership of design teams on major projects, across a mixture of sectors

  • Experience in project and client management within a defined fee budget and programme

  • Experience in identifying and winning new work and building client relationships

  • Ability to speak fluently and communicate effectively in written reports and oral presentations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed to practice as Architect in UK, RIBA and ARB preferred
