Job Description

AECOM is seeking for an experienced Social and Environmental Project Manager in Lima, Peru.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Leadership in technical contents proposals preparation and project management of social and environmental services (consulting, engineering and auditing)

  • Has full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating social engagement assignments.

  • Performs various management, leadership, and people accountability responsibilities for a specific technical group or department.

  • Plans and develops engineering tasks concerned with unique or controversial problems. This involves exploration of subject area, definition of scope and selection of problems for investigation and development of novel concepts and approaches.

  • Maintains liaison with units within the organization and individuals inside and outside of the organization.

  • Responsible for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the field. Work at this level usually requires extensive progressive experience.

  • Works under minimal supervision. Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

  • Manages group of engineers and/or technicians, coordinating activities of the unit.

Qualifications

Requisitos mínimos:

  • 6 AÑOS o equivalencia demostrada de experiencia y/o educación

Experience:

  • Experience leading teams

  • Experience working in international engineering / consultant companies

Preferrece:

  • BA/BS in Environmental Engineer, Social Scientist, Anthropologist or related field+ 6 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • 5+ years working in social projects / initiatives related to mining industry

  • Fluency of English language

  • Updated CIP Peruvian Engineering License (Colegiatura CIP vigente) or applicable License (Colegiatura)

  • 10+ years of overall work experience

  • Min 384 Hours in environmental training related to SEIA
