Job Description
AECOM has an immediate opportunity available for a Lean Construction Manager for employment in Lima, Perú.
Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
May have budget responsibilities.
Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day focusing on applying Lean principles and practices to the construction process to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance value. Their scope of responsibilities includes:
Implementation of Lean Practices
Participation in Project Planning and Scheduling
Participation in Quality Assurance
Training and Development
Cross-Disciplinary Team Collaboration
Cost Control and Waste Reduction
Process Improvement and Innovation
Risk Management
Performance Measurement and Reporting
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar + 8 YORE or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
8 years of experience desirable
Advanced English
Experience in Implementation of Lean Practices
