AECOM is seeking proactive and enthusiastic Landscape Architects to grow our highly experienced and successful team in our Leeds office.
This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of multi-disciplinary teams on projects of all scales within a friendly and supportive team. The work is highly varied, and you will be able to gain valuable experience across all aspects of the landscape profession, including landscape design, planning and management, supporting your career development.
As a member of one of the UK’s largest and most diverse landscape practices, you will be involved in a range of large-scale projects, including strategic planning, major infrastructure, urban regeneration and environmental enhancement schemes.
We are looking for a team player who wishes to assist in the development of innovative, cost effective and buildable solutions in an environment that is collaborative, stimulating and challenging. The role would suit a self-motivated individual looking to advance their career in a dynamic team.
Below is a list of required skills we are looking for:
Clear communication, including the ability to write concise technical reports and to lead conference calls, meetings and workshops.
Produce or oversee the production of drawings and other technical documentation using appropriate software, with the necessary level of detail as required at various stages of development: strategies, conceptual design, detailed design and production information.
Experience in producing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment Reports.
Form and maintain excellent relationships with internal and external clients.
Be able to work collaboratively and iteratively within a multi-disciplinary design team.
Experience of some or all of the following would also be advantageous: ArcGIS, AutoCAD Civils 3D, Revit, LSS, ProjectWise and Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
