AECOM are recruiting for a Project Controls Managers across our offices Nationwide including Manchester, Birmingham and London
The primary function of this role will be the management and delivery of Project and programme controls for clients, addressing actual budget and forecast costs in order to effectively capture the business and Project status. To support the business and project delivery in all aspect. The role will be part of the AECOM PMO team and experience of delivery of PMO best practice in a consulting environment on infrastructure projects and programmes will be a key requirement of the role.

Establishing / building on existing AECOM cost control and management systems
Accountable (Initially) for day-to-day collection of all cost information
Responsible for the establishment and operation of cost management process
A key participant in establishing and monitoring Management budgets
Manage Project budgets - non-manual and manual people job hour and cost control
Manage Project budgets – equipment, plant, material and subcontract cost control
Responsible for the reporting of costs against activities and to provide metrics and comparisons between actual cost of works performed and budgeted cost of works performed
In liaison with all parties – To be responsible for collation and the management of quantity tracking/ variances
Prepare / collate inputs into the weekly and monthly reporting on cost flow forecast, cash flow forecast and cost value reporting
Management of Project defined cost forecasts and all associated reporting, cost capture and allocations
Delivery of data analysis to support project decisions and delivery of appropriate reporting dashboards and management information using the latets best practice digital tools
The role will be part of the AECOM PMO team and experience of delivery of PMO best practice in a consulting environment on infrastructure projects and programmes will be a key requirement of the role.
Project Controls experience
Cost planning management experience
Earned Value management experience
Preferably APM or equivalent professional qualification
Previous systems experience and understanding of their reporting interfaces
- Engineering or construction Degree
