Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a self-driven and motivated Senior Project Manager / Department Manager to oversee the Civil Engineering department and lead civil design components on alternative delivery projects in our Latham, New York office. Projects range from bridges & tunnels, highways & roads to aviation, freight rail and mass transit.
Job Duties:
Directs and manages the entire project, guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface.
Will be responsible for overseeing and managing the Civil Engineering team
Accountable for all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule.
Overall responsibility and management of project including but not limited to budgeting/schedule stage, procurement, through contract closeout.
Position has primary fiscal responsibility and key liaison between client for assigned project.
Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
BS Civil Engineering or similar field and 10 years of related project management experience on large-scale, high-profile, design-build construction projects within the transportation sector or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
PE License
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience leading civil design components on alternative delivery projects
Previous department leadership and management experience
Experience with NYDOT and similar projects
Experience overseeing and driving a variety of facets including utility coordination, horizontal and vertical alignments of roadways, ADA compliance, sustainable design and grading / drainage design.

Offered rate of compensation (NY locations only) will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000.
