Job Description

AECOM has a position available for a Club Ride Community Account Manager in Las Vegas, NV. This position focuses on expanding Club Ride programs and services to three newly-defined audiences – Post-Secondary Educational Institutions, Transit Riders and Vanpoolers. The qualified candidate will be a proven transportation professional with the ability to conduct community outreach and engagement efforts for the Regional Transportation Commission’s Club Ride program.

Club Ride works with the business community, regional stakeholders and residents to reduce traffic congestion and travel emissions in Southern Nevada. The program provides education, services and promotions that encourage the use of transit, active transportation, carpooling and vanpooling as a means to improve quality of live in the community.

AECOM is responsible for the comprehensive management of Club Ride. This includes an outreach team responsible for developing community relationships and maintaining a network of employer and community partners that implement commute options programs. It also includes the oversight of a multi-disciplinary team of subconsultants that fulfill regional marketing and communications along with specialized strategies to expand the program’s reach and impact.

Additional Job Detail:

The Community-focused Account Manager focuses on providing outreach and consulting services to defined audiences that expand Club Ride’s reach and help to widen membership and participation, building on Club Ride’s employer-based foundation. The role will help develop Club Ride messaging and programming to encourage the use of greener travel across additional trip types, including post-secondary education institutions, transit riders, vanpoolers and residents. These efforts will support outcomes to raise program awareness and improve regional mobility, increasing mode capture among existing users and encouraging the use of sustainable options for additional trips.

The responsibilities of this role include, but may not be limited to, the following:

The position focuses on expanding Club Ride programs and services to three newly-defined audiences – Post-Secondary Educational Institutions, Transit Riders and Vanpoolers – with responsibilities including:

  • Post-secondary Education :

  • Provide one-on-one technical assistance to public and private post-secondary institutions in Clark County that include colleges, universities and technical academies

  • Grow and maintain partnerships with these entities to promote transportation options and encourage change in travel behavior among students, faculty and staff and promote additional available services including RTC’s reduced-fare and free college transit pass programs

  • Assist campuses with promoting carpool, transit, bike and pedestrian programs including providing regional ridematching, Club Ride Rewards and special promotions

  • Tailor outreach services and promotions to meet the unique needs and challenges of each partner and the varied audiences traveling to/from campus

  • Campus services will include, but not be limited to: transit promotions; carpool and vanpool formation activities; commuter pre-tax benefits (faculty/staff); various incentive programs and tactics designed to encourage mode shift away from drive-alone travel; bicycling and walking programs; and other air quality and congestion mitigation programs – including those aimed at sustainable practices and “green” operations

  • Maintain the status of current campus partners with all partner activities and contacts documented in the Salesforce database

  • Recruit new campus partners through networking, cold calling and community engagement

  • Schedule and conduct on-site events to register students, faculty and staff for Club Ride programs, services and promotions

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for post-secondary partners and stakeholders; providing TDM consulting services to the partners; maintaining a record of all activities and account details in Salesforce; develop plans for partners and account/engagement growth

  • Collaborate with other Club Ride and RTC resources including transit, bike/ped, operations and marketing

  • Manage RTC’s college transit pass programs including marketing and outreach for the reduced semester/monthly passes (NSHE College Transit Pass Partnerships for Students, Faculty and Staff) and outreach, administration and distribution of the grant-funded free college pass program

  • Vanpool Audience

  • Assist with the development and launch of a vanpool pilot program

  • Lead vanpool outreach efforts strategically identifying targeted areas and organizations with characteristics that align with vanpool success

  • Conduct outreach directly to identified employers, property managers, developers and community and business stakeholders to promote the vanpool pilot and facilitate the vanpool formation process; conduct vanpool-focused recruitment and launch events

  • Collaborate with an anticipated third-party vendor on outreach and growth strategies, vanpool formation, data collection and reporting and future direction

  • Transit Rider Audience

  • Assist with the development of a Transit Outreach Strategy

  • Collaboration with the RTC Transit team to identify opportunities for Club Ride to support existing riders, recruit new riders, provide feedback/requests

  • Help develop solutions for areas/customers where transit service does not operate or cannot provide direct service

  • Enhance existing rider experience by encouraging Club Ride participation

  • Act as a liaison between RTC Transit and the business community

  • Coordinate with RTC to participate in transit-focused events

  • Assist with the development, support, and launch an annual Try Transit modal promotion

  • Report activities and partner progress through Salesforce, a monthly report, weekly status reports and other required deliverables

  • Attend local networking and public meetings

  • Conduct presentations for stakeholders, employers and commuters

  • Generate measurable results through participation in transportation-related incentive programs

  • Exceed monthly performance metrics

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

  • BA/BS plus 2 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Relevant experience should include one (1) or more of the following: transportation planning, client management, business development, sales, marketing, outreach or other relevant business experience

  • Previous and demonstrated experience using MS Office and Salesforce

  • Valid US Driver’s License is required for this position. As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review

  • The ability to lift and carry presentation equipment that may weigh up to 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Transportation Planning or related field or some college with equivalent related business experience

  • 4+ years of transportation planning, client management, business development, sales, marketing, outreach or other relevant business experience

  • Previous experience with transportation planning and policies

Additional Information

  • Frequent visits to project sites or prospective client locations are required for this role

  • Field office work will require reliable transportation

  • Preparation and Presentation on subject matter may be requested during Interview process

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $56,000.00 - $75,000.00.
