Job Description
AECOM is looking for a Structural Engineering Graduate to join our Buildings+Places division assigned in Kitchener, ON.
This is a full time role expected to begin in January or May 2025.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Builds analytic and design skills.
Conducts structural engineering designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Prepare and review of contract specifications including cost estimates and quantities.
Undertake site inspection of structures within the framework of a prescribed methodology.
Provide periodic site reviews to monitor a contractor’s performance in construction, including attendance at site meetings, and preparation of site visit reports.
Perform assignments requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out engineering tasks. Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements :
- Must have completed or will be completing their Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00.
