AECOM is seeking a Nuclear Document Control Lead to be based in our Kincardine, ON location. An ideal candidate must be local or willing to relocate to the area.

The Document Controller will report directly to the Project Controls Manager and will be responsible for setting up and maintaining project documentation within project filing requirements, including checking the quality of drawings and documents to be catalogued, receiving, tracking and monitoring drawings and documentation.
Essential functions and responsibilities
Setting up and maintaining project documentation within project filing requirements;
Checking the quality of drawings and documents to be catalogued;
Receiving, tracking and monitoring drawings and documentation;
Interfacing with the project team to coordinate the control of documentation;
Generating transmittals to send documentation to external parties through electronic or hard copy means;
Checking the accuracy of transmittals;
Expediting the review of internal and external documentation within engineering and construction departments
Bachelor’s degree in records management, business administration or demonstrated equivalent and 4 years of information management experience in related fields (specifically engineering, supplier/subcontract and field construction document management) including some lead experience. Or
Associate’s degree in records management, business administration or a closely related field and 8 years of experience in information management in related fields (specifically engineering, supplier/subcontract and field construction information management) including 2 years of lead experience. Or
12 years of experience in information management in related fields (specifically engineering, supplier/subcontract and field construction information management) including 4 years of lead experience.
Experience leading and managing a team;
Experience in the construction and nuclear industry an asset.
Basic knowledge of engineering terminology;
Considerable experience working with and understanding drawings and documentation;
Proficient in using Electronic Document Management Systems.
Due to the nature of work conducted by AECOM, mandated nuclear export controls requirements must be met for employment
