Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Environmental Engineer for employment in the Honolulu, Hawaii office. AECOM is pleased to include you in a unique development opportunity, the Graduate Development Program (GDP). This program is designed to support your assimilation into the organization and assist with creating a foundation of knowledge for a successful career at AECOM. This position is expected to begin in March 2025.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Builds analytic and design skills.
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Performs work in accordance with agreed upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, and Environmental Science.
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices.
As a condition of employment, selected candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review.
Ability to successfully obtain a DBIDs pass to gain access to any required federal military installation site locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or related discipline.
Relevant years of work experience.
Experience military emergency response and environmental projects
Effective oral and written communication skills
Experience using Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and preparing technical reports.
Experience using ArcGIS and generating maps and report figures.
Excellent skills in written and spoken communication (including polished client presentation skills), organization, time management.
Ability to work as part of a project team comprised of AECOM staff and subcontractors.

Relocation assistance is available for this role.
Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
Candidate will submit to medical surveillance screening upon hire.
Ability to travel at least 10% of the time.
Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $50,382.57 - $69,276.03.
