Job Description

AECOM is seeking to hire a Senior Program Manager – Federal Programs to support our exciting projects in Asia-Pacific region. This position will be based in Guam.

The Senior Program Manager will travel frequently throughout the region.

The Senior Program Manager will be based out of Guam and will develop relationships with Department of Defense clients in the region including Japan, Korea, Guam, Hawaii and others related to the Pacific area of responsibility. This includes meetings with various agencies, such as NAVFAC, USACE, Air Force, and the Dept of State. You will have the opportunity to drive growth and lead projects.

The duties of the Senior Program Manager include the continued business development and advancement of AECOM’s Asia-Pacific Federal/DoD market growth strategy. This role is expected to be 50% of the candidate’s workload, with responsibilities including supporting the development and implementation of AECOM’s overall strategy and approach for the Federal/DoD market. This includes seeking new opportunities, building the sales pipeline, and leading capture on major pursuits including managing proposals.

Candidate will also have the responsibility of acting as project Principal or Project Manager on projects. In this role, candidate will balance business development with playing a key role in the delivery of programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.

  • Professional Architect or Engineering License

  • Valid Driver’s License and must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review.

  • Valid US Passport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

  • 15+ years of relevant experience, with progressive development in the Federal / DoD sector

  • Direct experience managing projects for USACE, Airforce and/or NAVFAC

  • Additional credentialing such as PMP, DBIA, and/or LEEP AP

  • Experience in developing scope, fee, and terms for proposals and change orders for interdisciplinary teams related to building design and engineering.

  • Experience in implementing design quality assurance and quality control activities

  • Ability to interact regularly and professionally with senior management and technical staff in other offices on business development and project execution issues

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

  • Proven organizational skills with a proven track record in client satisfaction while meeting deliverables and deadline requirements

  • Internally driven, self-starter, team orientated

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $100,000.00 - $160,000.00.
