ABOUT YOU

You’ll be an ambitious team player with all the technical and commercial skills, knowledge and experience to take day-to-day responsibility for delivering projects. You’ll be comfortable working with a high degree of independence to ensure technical quality and adherence to budget and programme. You’ll be able to prepare fee proposals for external and internal clients and lead the input to projects from desk study and feasibility through ground investigation and interpretation to final design.

Our experts provide one-stop access to services ranging from desk studies, site investigation, risk assessment, remediation (strategy development, design, implementation and validation), monitoring and close-out on a wide range of contracts. ABOUT THE JOB

We’re seeking an experienced Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to be based in our Glasgow office. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career within an established and successful company that has welfare and wellbeing as core values.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong understanding of contaminated land assessment regulations and guidance

  • Working knowledge of CDM regulations and site management.

  • Hands on experience within field investigation, including site management, drilling supervision, collection of groundwater and ground gas samples, or the supervision of remediation activities.

  • Development of robust conceptual site models.

  • Qualitative and/or quantitative risk assessment.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to write clear and concise technical reports and documents.

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving and inter-personal skills

  • Ability to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues and clients in a multi-disciplinary environment

  • Clean driving licence

  • Willing to travel within the UK

Preferred Qualifications

For this role you will ideally hold an undergraduate degree in an environmental, science or engineering based subject.
