In R&I (Resources & Industry) we offer services that span the entire project life cycle. From concept to detailed design, engineering and project management for execution and commissioning phases, as well as decommissioning and closure of existing operations.

Job Description
Due to a number of ongoing projects, our Resources & Industry Team (R&I) are looking to add a Senior Civil Engineer to their team, based in Brisbane .
What will a day in this role look like:
Support the discipline team lead of civil engineering projects specific to the R&I Group business line whilst effectively liaising and working with other disciplines and support design staff. Act as the technical lead on smaller projects, as required.
Independently perform tasks related to primary design elements for engineering works on a range of mining, general civil and industry projects including earthworks, roads, drainage and services.
Assist with the preparation of proposals, design calculations and drawings whilst providing leadership and guidance to more junior engineers, assisting with their professional development.
Ensure projects under your remit are delivered on-time, on-budget and within the defined scope ensuring clients’ expectations are met.
Qualifications

What are we looking for from you?
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or related degree, ideally with 6 + years’ experience for an engineering consultancy.
Exposure to general civil infrastructure projects with knowledge of Australian codes and standards (exposure to mining resourcing projects desirable, but not essential)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders at senior and junior levels
Experience in leading smaller projects as required
Working towards, or eligible to obtain RPEQ accreditation
