Job Summary

AECOM has a future opportunity for a Master Rigger to join our team at our CNRL Albian Project. This is a full time position on a 7 day on, 7 day off rotation.

Master Riggers must ensure that persons under the Company’s Supervision involved in or in the area where materials handling operations are being conducted are trained in the techniques required for the safe execution of their work. Only use equipment that has been inspected and certified in accordance with Company requirements. Understand and follow procedures and Code of Practices

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the management of AECOM owned and supplied hoisting equipment.

  • Be knowledgeable with lifting equipment and rigging management procedures

  • Maintain lifting equipment in a safe and operable condition

  • Carry out pre use inspection of lifting equipment

  • Carry out Crane Signaler duties as required

  • Prepare lifting plans for routine & non-routine simple lifting operations

  • Plan and risk assess all routine & non-routine crane lifting operations associated with day-to-day running

  • Supervise all lifting operations, including non-routine complex lifts.

  • Complete reports, lifting operation risk assessments, logs and other documentation, as required.

  2. Qualified applicants who are offered, and accept, a position must provide evidence of a satisfactory Alcohol & Drug test in accordance with the Company's Alcohol & Drug Policy. In order to be valid, the test must have been conducted at the direction of AECOM - O&G Business Unit.

Minimum Requirements

  • JM Pipefitter/Ironworker background required.

  • Must have JM Status within a trade.

  • 10+ Years minimum experience in Basic/Complex Rigging.

  • Must have a qualification indicating Rigging Training. Training such as ITI Master Rigger.

  • CSTS-09

  • Fall Arrest

  • Confined space ticket

  • Overhead crane ticket

  • Master Rigging training ticket/certificate
