Job Description

As a Senior BIM Bridge / Structural Engineers, you will be responsible for leading and managing the BIM process for various projects, ensuring compliance with BIM standards and best practices, and providing technical support and guidance to the project teams and facilitating effective collaboration between the project stakeholders.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and implementation of BIM execution plans, workflows, protocols, and quality control measures for each project.

  • Setting up the Common Date Environment and the orientation for the project team.

  • Coordinate with the design team and building the BIM models.

  • Produce the required Dynamos and codes to facilitate the design delivery.

  • Lead the production team of BIM technicians to produce the design drawings.

  • Lead the coordination with the other disciplines involved in the design.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and subcontractors, to ensure BIM deliverables are aligned with project requirements and expectations.

  • Manage and maintain the BIM models and data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Coordinate the federated model setup for interdisciplinary review and clash resolution setup.

  • Perform clash detection, model coordination, and issue resolution using BIM software and tools.

  • Conduct regular BIM coordination meetings to resolve clashes and ensure model accuracy.

  • Provide BIM training, support, and mentoring to the project teams and other staff members.

  • Research and evaluate new BIM technologies, methods, and trends, and provide recommendations for improvement and innovation.

  • Research and evaluate the computational design process.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in large-scale infrastructure structures projects such as Bridges, Tunnels, and Rail stations.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in BIM coordination or similar role for large-scale infrastructure projects.

  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects and deadlines efficiently.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or related field.

  • Reasonable knowledge on the structural design.

  • Proficient in BIM software and tools, such as Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, AutoCAD, BIM 360, ACC, ProjectWise, and Dynamo.

  • Knowledge of BIM standards and best practices.

  • BIM Certification (e.g., RICS, Autodesk) preferred.
