Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Dry Utilities to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of dry utility installations, including electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications systems.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of dry utility installations, including underground and above-ground systems

  • Verify compliance with local, national, and international codes and regulations

  • Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications

  • Identify and report potential issues, defects, or safety hazards

  • Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and project managers to resolve technical issues

  • Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate documentation

  • Perform quality control checks on materials and equipment used in dry utility installations

  • Stay updated on industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices

  • Participate in project meetings and provide expert advice on dry utility matters

  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and procedures at all times

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in dry utility inspection or related field

  • In-depth knowledge of dry utility systems, including electricity, natural gas, and telecommunications

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints

  • Strong understanding of relevant codes and regulations governing dry utility installations

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities

  • Proficiency in using inspection software and tools

  • Relevant certifications in utility inspection (e.g., NACE, API) preferred

  • Thorough understanding of dry utility installation, maintenance, and safety procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
